Yesterday Microsoft announced that Windows 7 has been released to manufacturing so therefore they will achieve their expected release date of October 22nd 2009.
We have been running Windows 7 internally at Pulse now for many months and to be honest have found it an absolutely huge step forward in usability, stability and speed from Vista.
It looks nicer and is easier to use but is also certainly faster than Windows Vista even on the same hardware.
There are a number of short videos available on the internet to see what the new Windows 7 looks like, however I have a couple of the key ones here to look at if you are interested – please excuse the geeks!
