Historically we have needed add-ons like Flash & QuickTime to enable us to watch a video online. Now with HTML5, a webpage video can play without any add-on products required; a smooth, fast picture stream that is propelling us into the future of internet browsing.
Currently this technology is up and running on Google Chrome, Firefox 4 and Internet Explorer 9 and is making an impact. It’s also a brilliant plus for iPhone users where Flash isn’t supported, this technology steps in and puts you back in the game.
The following website is a very cool example of the HTML 5 being used – you will need Google Chrome for this site to work properly but we think it is a very nifty look at what the future of web browsing can hold.
